MAC ROSY OUTLOOK BLUSH

This Mac blush in the shade ROSY OUTLOOK is a great peachy, pastel shade. It has pink undertones and looks great on more pale skin. It can be very powdery and does take a few applications to get the desired colour. I am very happy with this blush and continue to use it every day. The only downside is because you have to use quite a bit of it you hit pan quite quickly.

DAY TIME SMOKEY EYE

Here i am wearing my essence eye liner, i have created a cats eye. I have also used the Stila palette and my Mac rosy outlook blush. I am wearing a nude, matte inglot lipstick

INGLOT 144 LIPSTICK & NYX GLOSS

These two products look great together! Inglot lipsticks are very moisturizing and have a beautiful creamy formula. This colour 144 is my favorite pastel pink! Being quite a bright pastel it is probably best to pair the lipstick with a subtle eye look. This Nyx gloss is a beautiful pink colour and pairs very well with the inglot lipstick. The gloss has a good consistency. It is not too sticky or too watery, it sits perfectly on the lips and lasts a long time. These colors are great for summer and spring.

ACCESSORIZE BRONZING BLOCK 2

This accessorize bronzing block is fantastic. For someone who is fair like me, i look for a bronzer that has two shades so that i can mix both the lighter and darker shade for a color that suits me. I love this product for contouring. It offers me the perfect color combination. It is a matte bronzer with a very slight sheen. So light it is hardly noticeable. This bronzing block is in the shade 2. The packaging is very pretty and is made from a hard cardboard. I love using this bronzer more than i like the Bourjois chocolate bronzer, which is a large matte bronzing block. Bourjois was my favorite until i found this. <3 

MAC CREME CUP CREMESHEEN

Okay, this is my new favorite everyday lipstick! i purchased it yesterday and i have used it already. This is the perfect nude/pink shade. I have been looking for a lipstick that i can wear with very smokey eyes. I don't like very nude lipsticks that make me lips look white and i have so many bright pink lipsticks that i wanted something in between. Upon arriving at the mac store i asked the makeup artists what the best and most popular shade was for a subtle everyday look. She suggested creme cup. She could not have been any more correct. I am already obsessed with this lipstick. It doesn't have a very creamy texture which is good because it lasts longer. I apply my mac naked liner before i apply this, just so that i can get the most pigmented, vibrant color. For fairer skinned females this color is fantastic! not to say darker skins can't wear it.

ESSENCE LIQUID EYELINER

I have been very impressed with this ESSSENCE liquid eyeliner. The tip is made of sponge and gets smaller towards the tip. For R30 i couldn't have asked for a better product. The liner is very black and lasts the entire day! I remove my makeup with johnson makeup remover wipes and it takes a while before this liner is removed completely. It is perfect for the cat eye or winged liner look and very easy too apply. You can create lines in a variety of thickness. Love this! the price sold me completely.

STILA 'IN THE LIGHT' PALETTE

I am so impressed with this Stila palette. Being relatively new to South Africa, i was not familiar with Stila as a brand. When i saw that Stila had been introduced to Woolworths i was so excited! i had watched a few youtube beauty bloggers use the Stila kitten paint pot and wanted to get one. This eye shadow palette comes with 10 shadows. It is the best selection of shadows i have found in a palette. It also comes with a Stila smudge stick which is a retractable eye liner in a dark brown shade. The shades kitten and shampagne are my favorite but the shade bare is a great neutral shade for over the eye lid. You can create a smokey look or every day looks with this selection of shadows. The palette is relatively well priced too, at R389 it is amongst the most affordable high end palettes available.

MAYBELLINE FIT ME FOUNDATION

The maybelline fit me foundation has had many reviews both negative and positive. I love this foundation. I use the lightest shade in 110 but i am very fair and this shade suits me perfectly. It is not a long lasting foundation and i unusually touch up after about 4 hours of wearing it. This foundation is perfect for day wear. I wear MAC STUDIO FLUID in NW15 for night wear. It is a medium to full coverage foundation that is very build able which i like. For woman with fair skin this shade is great. I use this foundation almost every day.

INGLOT AMC LIP PAINT 57

I am obsessed with this product!! i have always been a huge fan of inglot makeup, they are great value for money. AMC stands for amplified color and all of the inglot AMC products are very highly pigmented. This lip pair is in the shade 57. It is a beautiful pastel pink that is perfect for every day wear. This lip paint is very pigmented and is a great combination of color and gloss. you don't need to apply any color underneath it or gloss over it. The formula is soft and smooth and makes wearing lip products a pleasure. The only downside of lip products in a pot is having to use your finger to apply it, or carrying a lip brush in your handbag if you need to touch up. Overall i love this product and would definitely repurchase it. Inglot has a great selection of colors in the lip paint range.

MAC NAKED LIP LINER

I am youtube obsessed! i could sit for hours watching makeup tutorials and get ready with me videos. I love to see what products are new and worth purchasing. After watching one of my favorite make up artists on youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/Jaclynhill1 Jacklyn Hill i got very excited to try MAC's NAKED LIPLINER. I have been very impressed! i absolutely adore this liner. It is a nude shade and great to prevent bleeding lipstick. It also makes a great nude base for any lipsticks. Applying lipstick over this liner makes the colors appear more opaque and brighter. It also makes your lipsticks last longer. I often use this liner all over my lips and then apply my favorite everyday mac lipstick in CREME CUP over it. The lipstick lasts a good 5 hours without having to retouch it. A purchase i do not regret.

NYX TICKLED CREAM BLUSH

This cream blush should be on every girls summer must have list! This is a beautiful coral cream blush with a slight shimmer. When applied with a beauty blender (or in SA a Blender Baby available at Clicks stores) it gives your cheeks the perfect pop of color without being over the top. It also acts as a highlighter. Cream blushes are in this season and this color is very similar to NARS ORGASM, however it is in cream form. NYX TICKLED is R100 a pot which is relatively well priced considering it is a highly pigmented gorgeous color! Definitely one of my favorites this month. I have never been someone who often uses cream blushes however this one i love.

LOREAL PARIS CARISSE LIPSTICK

When looking for new pink shades for summer i stumbled upon these new lipsticks by Loreal Paris. The brand is called Carisse. They have a number of beautiful pink and purple shades. The darker lip shades seem to be more pigmented than the lighter shades. The lighter shades are sheer and do not offer good pigmented lip color. The darker pink however is beautiful! they have a creamy texture but don't last very long on your lips. When i use my Naked lip liner by MAC underneath these colors though they offer a slightly more opaque look. Shade 07 CHERRY MAGENTA is my favorite!
